Sketch uses 10666 bytes (37%) of program storage space. I am still not clear if it is required though.Īnd why am I getting the "Permission denied" notification every time I try to flash the board? (I had this problem chronically when using LibreCad I could not open my own drawing files!).Īrduino: 1.8.7 (Linux), Board: "Arduino Mini, ATmega328P" I have downloaded this driver, but so far have been unable to install it. Indicates no driver is necessary to run the Arduino IDE in Linux.īut elsewhere there is a suggestion that a CH340 driver is required.

I receive a long error message, but it begins with "Permission denied".etc.

I am trying to load a program sketch into an Arduino nano board without success. I have installed the Arduino IDE on my Linux Mint 17.3 operating system. This is my very first venture into the world of Arduino.so, please forgive beginners questions.
